Knicks' Brunson Suffers Ankle Injury in Win

Brunson Averages 272 Points Per Game

Injury Occurs During Jump Shot Attempt

New York Knicks star Jalen Brunson suffered a non-contact leg injury in the first minute of Sunday's 107-98 victory over the Cleveland Cavaliers. Brunson, who averages 272 points per game, was attempting a jump shot over Isaac Okoro when the injury occurred.

Brunson's injury cast a shadow over an otherwise positive performance by the Knicks. Despite Brunson's absence, the team rallied behind its other All-Star, Julius Randle, who scored 32 points and grabbed 12 rebounds.

The extent of Brunson's injury is still unknown, but it is a major blow to a Knicks team that has struggled with injuries all season. The Knicks are already without Cam Reddish, who is recovering from a groin injury.

The Knicks will next face the Sacramento Kings on Tuesday night in Sacramento. It is unclear if Brunson will be able to play in that game.
